Processing Aadhaar Cards
How to properly crop and enhance Aadhaar card images

The Challenge with Aadhaar Cards
Aadhaar cards come in various shapes—long letters, PVC cards, and cut-outs. Processing them into a standard ID format is often tricky. Here is how to do it right.
Front Side Processing
- Upload the front image containing your photo.
- Crop Tight: Ensure you remove any table surface visible around the card.
- Aspect Ratio: Our tool attempts to maintain the standard ID card ratio (3.375 x 2.125 inches). Try to match this shape.
Back Side Processing
- Upload the back image containing the address.
- Ensure the text alignment is upright. Use the "Rotate" button if the image was taken sideways.
Enhancement Tips
Aadhaar text sometimes prints lightly. Use the "Contrast" slider to darken the text relative to the background. This makes the address much easier to read in printouts.
Final Output
The tool will auto-arrange these two images onto a single A4 page or a card-sized layout, depending on your settings, ready for printing or emailing.
